Terms of Service

By accessing or using PassFrench ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to use PassFrench. If you are under 16, you may only use the Platform with parental or guardian supervision.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Your PassFrench account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. One person may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits or for any other reason is prohibited and may result in suspension of all associated accounts.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at passfrench6@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

PassFrench offers both free and premium tiers:

Free tier: Includes access to 3 reading tests, 3 listening tests, 3 AI-scored writing submissions, 3 AI-scored speaking sessions, and limited daily AI features (chat, explanations, writing tutor). Free tier access does not require payment and is available indefinitely.

Premium tier: Unlocks all content and unlimited AI features. Premium access is granted through a recurring subscription (billed weekly, monthly, or every 2 months depending on the plan you choose) that renews automatically until cancelled. There are no hidden fees.

We reserve the right to modify what is included in each tier. If changes reduce premium benefits you have already paid for, they will not apply to your current access period.

All premium plans are recurring subscriptions, billed automatically on the cycle shown at checkout (weekly, monthly, or every 2 months) until you cancel. Prices are displayed in USD and include all applicable fees.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of your current paid billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.

Refund policy: Since you retain full access through the end of the period you've already paid for, we don't offer refunds for early cancellation. We encourage you to fully explore the free tier before subscribing to ensure the platform meets your needs.

In exceptional circumstances (such as accidental duplicate purchases or technical issues preventing access), please contact passfrench6@gmail.com and we will review your case.

We do not guarantee any specific exam results. PassFrench is a preparation tool, and outcomes depend on individual effort and ability.

All content on PassFrench - including but not limited to reading passages, listening audio, writing prompts, speaking exercises, AI-generated feedback, study plans, and the platform's design - is the exclusive property of PassFrench or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any PassFrench content without our prior written consent. This includes copying test questions, recording audio, screenshotting feedback, or scraping content through automated means.

Content shared on PassFrench is for personal, non-commercial use only. Any unauthorized use may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

When using PassFrench, you agree not to:

Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Platform through your account.

Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or browser extensions to extract, download, or copy content from the Platform.

Attempt to bypass security measures, access restrictions, or usage limits through any technical means.

Upload malicious content, interfere with the Platform's operation, or attempt to access other users' data.

Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

Misrepresent your identity or create accounts using disposable or temporary email addresses.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

PassFrench uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to provide scoring, feedback, and conversational features. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided as educational guidance and should not be considered definitive or infallible.

AI scores and feedback are approximations designed to help you identify strengths and areas for improvement. They may not perfectly match official TCF exam scoring. Use them as one tool among many in your preparation.

AI features are subject to availability and may experience occasional downtime or changes. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated feedback.

PassFrench is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to France Education International (FEI), the creators of the TCF exam, or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). TCF is a registered trademark of France Education International.

We do not guarantee any specific exam scores, immigration outcomes, or proficiency levels. Your results depend on your individual preparation, effort, and ability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PassFrench shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PassFrench shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Canada.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Submitting a review through the Platform is entirely optional. If you choose to submit one, you will be asked for explicit, separate consent before anything is displayed publicly.

If you consent, only your first name and the initial of your last name (for example, "Emmanuel O.") will ever be shown alongside your review text — never your full name, email address, or any other identifying information. We choose this format specifically to make you recognizable to people who know you while protecting your full identity from the public.

Reviews are manually reviewed before being published and are never shown automatically. You can withdraw your consent and request removal of your review and display name at any time by emailing passfrench6@gmail.com — we will remove it within a reasonable time.

Submitting a review currently grants a complimentary period of Premium access as a thank-you, independent of whether your review is ultimately approved for public display.
